Carolyn Lynn (Short) Osborn, 58, of Oblong, IL passed away on Thursday November 28, 2019 at her residence.
Celebration of Lynn’s life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Pulliam Funeral Home in Oblong, IL. Burial will follow in Shire Cemetery rural Oblong.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Lynn Osborn, 58, Oblong, IL passed away on Thursday November 28, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Lawrenceville, IL on June 14, 1961 and was the daughter of Harold W. and Nila K. (Mundhenk)Short. On October 21, 1983 she married Kenneth R. Osborn who survives.
Lynn was a member of the Oblong High School Class of 1980 and LTC Class of 1982. Lynn was a homemaker and helped Kenny in any way she could. She enjoyed reading “Love Novels”, riding horses, her wiener dog “Ginger”, watching movies and collecting Corgi dogs. Most of all Lynn loved the red roses with bears that Kenny gave her every Valentine’s Day.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years Kenny R. Osborn, Oblong, IL; her parents Harold and Nila Short, Oblong, IL; sister Jamie Chiddix and her fiancé Terry Smithenry, Willow Hill, IL; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Karen and Ralph Beabout, Robinson, IL, Beulah Chiappa, Vincennes, IN, Mary and Norman Tohill, Flat Rock, IL, Howard Osborn, Flat Rock, IL, Larry and Pam Osborn, Flat Rock, IL Sherri and Ron Bone, Oblong, IL. Lynn also had several nieces, nephews, Great nieces and Great nephews.
Preceding her in death were her grandparents Clone and Thelma Short, Harold “Woodie”and Lieuetta Mundhenk; Kenny’s parents Kenneth H. and Marylan (Meese) Osborn; and a step grandmother Bernice White Mundhenk.
